Deposits, Payments & Cancellation Policy

Bella Jules Beauty, Aesthetics and Training Ltd is committed to providing clear and transparent information about course bookings, deposits, payments, cancellations, transfers and refunds. As training courses require preparation, resource allocation, trainer scheduling, accreditation administration and course materials, deposits and fees are subject to the terms below. By booking a course you agree to these terms.
Course deposits
To secure a place on any course a non-refundable deposit is required. Unless otherwise agreed:
- Individual courses — £100 deposit
- Course packages — £250 deposit
- Injectable Practitioner Pathway — £500 deposit
No course place is guaranteed until the required deposit has been received. We reserve the right to amend deposit amounts for promotional offers or specialist courses.
Payment of the remaining balance
- Individual courses — balance due no later than 7 days before the course start date.
- Package courses — in accordance with the agreed payment plan, or no later than 14 days before the start date.
- Instalment plans (via GoCardless or another provider) — payments must be maintained as agreed. Missed payments may result in suspension from training, and certification may be withheld until balances are cleared.
Cooling-off period
Where you book online or remotely, you may cancel within 14 days of booking and receive a full refund, provided the course has not started and no learning materials or online training have been accessed. If you request immediate access to materials or the course begins during this period, refund rights may be reduced or waived in line with consumer regulations.
Learner cancellations
- More than 28 days before — deposit is non-refundable; any additional payments made may be refunded.
- Between 14 and 28 days before — deposit retained; up to 50% of additional fees may be refunded at the academy's discretion.
- Less than 14 days before — no refund; a transfer to an alternative date may be requested, subject to availability and approval.
- Non-attendance without prior notice is treated as a cancellation and no refund is issued.
Course transfers
Transfer requests must be made in writing, are subject to availability, and require a minimum of 14 days' notice where possible. One transfer may be offered without charge at the academy's discretion; further transfers may incur a £50 administration fee.
Exceptional circumstances
We may consider requests outside this policy where exceptional circumstances exist — such as serious illness, hospitalisation, bereavement or significant family emergencies. Supporting evidence may be requested, and any decision remains at the academy's discretion.
Academy cancellations
In the unlikely event we need to cancel or reschedule a course, you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund of monies paid. We are not liable for travel, accommodation, loss of earnings or other consequential losses, so please do not make non-refundable arrangements until attendance is confirmed.
Withdrawal during training & certification
If you leave a course after training has commenced, no refund is provided and any outstanding balance remains payable. Certificates, assessment outcomes and learner records may be withheld until full payment has been received or an agreed payment plan completed.
Refunds
Where a refund is approved it will normally be issued using the original payment method within 14 working days. Any dispute relating to cancellations, refunds, transfers or payments should be raised through our Complaints Policy or Appeals Policy.
